Crest Audio CA 60 power amplifier.

Description

Class H Professional Power Amplifier High Power Performance This Class H Professional Power Amplifier is engineered for demanding sound reinforcement systems that require massive output, stability, and reliability. Built with high-efficiency Class H circuitry, it delivers powerful performance while reducing heat buildup, making it suitable for extended operation in professional environments. High Power Output The amplifier produces approximately 2800 watts per channel at 8 ohms and up to 4200 watts per channel at 4 ohms . Depending on the model variant and rating standards, it is often marketed as a high-wattage amplifier suitable for large-scale PA systems and professional audio setups. Over-Built Power Supply Designed for serious applications, the unit features a large pure copper toroidal transformer and multiple high-capacity capacitors (typically around 20). This heavy-duty power supply provides strong current reserves, stable voltage delivery, and powerful low-frequency response even under demanding loads. Advanced Cooling System An intelligent cooling design includes multiple high-speed fans (commonly four) and large extruded aluminum heat sinks. This system efficiently dissipates heat during prolonged high-output use, ensuring consistent and stable performance. Comprehensive Protection Circuits The amplifier includes advanced protection systems such as thermal protection, over-current protection, short-circuit protection, and DC fault protection. These safeguards protect both the amplifier and connected speakers. Ideal Applications Suitable for large PA systems, concerts, nightclubs, churches, auditoriums, and professional rental operations.
