dbx AFS2 Advanced Feedback Suppression Processor | Live Sound

Description

dbx AFS2 Advanced Feedback Suppression Processor Take control of unwanted microphone feedback with the dbx AFS2 Advanced Feedback Suppression Processor, a professional audio solution designed for live sound systems, venues, churches, events, and permanent installations. It automatically identifies problematic feedback frequencies and applies precise filters, helping you achieve cleaner and more controlled sound. Advanced Feedback Suppression The dbx AFS2 uses advanced processing technology to detect feedback while preserving the character of your vocals and instruments. Instead of relying on broad EQ cuts, its narrow notch filters target troublesome frequencies with greater precision. As a result, your sound can remain more natural while unwanted feedback is reduced. The processor includes 24 programmable filters per channel, providing flexible control for different sound environments. You can also choose between Fixed and Live modes depending on whether you are setting up your system or managing feedback during a performance. Key Features • Advanced AFS Technology: Automatically detects and reduces problematic feedback frequencies. • Ultra-Narrow Filters: Uses precise notch filters to minimise unnecessary changes to your overall sound. • Fixed and Live Modes: Set filters during soundcheck or allow the processor to manage feedback dynamically. • Setup Wizard: Guides you through the room calibration process for easier system preparation. • LCD Display: Shows filter activity and processing information clearly. • Dual-Channel Operation: Use the channels independently or link them for stereo applications. • Balanced Connections: XLR and ¼-inch inputs and outputs provide flexible integration with professional audio equipment. Ideal for Professional Sound Systems Whether you’re running a church PA, live event system, performance venue, or installed audio setup, feedback control is essential for maintaining clear sound. The dbx AFS2 can work alongside your mixer, amplifiers, microphones, and speakers to provide an additional layer of control.
