Evans 14-Inch G Plus Coated Snare and Tom Drumhead

Description

The Evans 14-inch G Plus Coated drumhead is a high-performance single-ply head designed for drummers who demand a blend of open resonance and enhanced durability. Built with an exclusive 12mil film, this head is 20% thicker than standard single-ply alternatives. This added mass provides a deeper fundamental pitch and significantly more “body” than traditional heads, making it an excellent choice for a 14-inch snare drum or floor tom. The white coating on the G Plus adds a layer of warmth and focus, effectively taming harsh overtones while maintaining a musical, ambient quality. On a snare drum, it delivers a sharp, definitive “crack” with a dense center that cuts through loud stage volumes. For toms, it offers a lush, singing sustain that is more rugged and long-lasting than a standard G1, without the dampened feel of a two-ply head. Product Features • Exclusive 12mil Single-Ply Film: Offers the wide-open resonance of a single-ply head with the increased durability and attack of a thicker film. • Warm and Focused Coating: The white coated finish provides additional warmth, depth, and focus, making it ideal for both studio and live settings. • High-Impact Durability: Specifically engineered to withstand heavy hitters while maintaining a sensitive, expressive feel for ghost notes and intricate patterns. • Versatile 14-Inch Size: Perfectly suited for standard snare drums or 14-inch rack and floor toms across various musical genres like rock, pop, and fusion. • Level 360 Technology: Ensures a consistent fit around the drum shell for easier tuning, a wider pitch range, and better overall sound quality.
