NUX PDI-1G Guitar Active Direct Box with Cabinet Simulator

Description

NUX PDI-1G Guitar Direct Box The NUX PDI-1G Guitar Direct Box provides a practical way to connect guitars and basses directly to professional audio systems. Designed for both live performances and studio recording, this active DI box converts high-impedance instrument signals into clean, balanced microphone-level outputs. The built-in cabinet simulator gives you three useful options: off, open and closed. These settings help create a more natural amplified tone when connecting directly to a mixer, PA system or recording interface without using a traditional guitar amplifier. The NUX PDI-1G Guitar Direct Box also provides flexible connections. Its balanced XLR output connects to a mixer or audio interface, while the unbalanced output works with compatible audio equipment. The parallel thru connection lets you send the original instrument signal to a stage amplifier while feeding a separate signal to the mixing console. Powering the unit is simple because it supports both standard DC power and phantom power from a compatible mixing console. In addition, the ground lift switch helps reduce unwanted hum and buzz caused by ground loops. For demanding live use, the NUX PDI-1G features a durable metal housing with heavy-duty rubber side bumpers. An input attenuation control also helps manage stronger instrument signals and reduce the risk of unwanted clipping. Whether you’re recording guitar in the studio or connecting an instrument directly to a PA system, this DI box offers reliable signal conversion, useful cabinet simulation and flexible connectivity in a compact design.
