Yamaha HS5 Powered Studio Monitors

Description

The Yamaha HS5 Studio Monitor is a professional 2-way bi-amplified nearfield speaker designed to deliver precise, transparent sound for music production, mixing, mastering, podcasting, video editing, and content creation. Renowned for its accurate sound reproduction and iconic white-cone woofer, the HS5 is trusted by producers, engineers, and studios worldwide. Featuring a 5-inch cone woofer and a 1-inch dome tweeter, the Yamaha HS5 produces a balanced and highly detailed sound with a frequency response of 54Hz–30k Hz (-10dB) and 74Hz–24k Hz (-3dB). Its built-in bi-amplified system delivers a total output of 70 watts, with 45W dedicated to the low-frequency driver and 25W powering the high-frequency tweeter for exceptional clarity and a remarkably flat response. To ensure accurate monitoring in different environments, the Yamaha HS5 includes Room Control and High Trim controls, allowing you to optimise the speaker’s performance based on your room acoustics. Whether you’re working in a professional recording studio, home studio, editing suite, or multimedia workspace, these adjustments help achieve a more balanced listening experience. Flexible connectivity is provided through balanced XLR and ¼-inch TRS inputs, making the monitor compatible with audio interfaces, mixers, studio controllers, and professional recording equipment. Its compact design fits comfortably on studio desks and speaker stands without sacrificing performance.
