How buying works

Buying in three steps

• Find it: search or browse products from Nairobi wholesalers and retailers. Buyers anywhere in Kenya are welcome.
• Contact the shop: tap Call, WhatsApp or Chat on the product. Ask about price, condition, stock and delivery or pickup.
• Buy directly: you and the shop agree on the deal and you pay the shop. Nairobi Square is free for buyers.

What Nairobi Square does

• Only businesses that operate a physical shop or warehouse in Nairobi County can sell here, and each one is checked by Nairobi Square before its shop goes live.
• We remove listings and suspend shops that break our rules, and we act on reports from buyers.
• We do not sell, hold stock, deliver or take payment for products, and we charge no commission on sales.

What “Verified” means

A verified shop is a real business we have checked: its name, contact person, business phone, registration details and Nairobi location. Verification is not a guarantee of any sale. Nairobi Square is not part of your payment and cannot refund it, so always check the item before you pay.

If something goes wrong

• Talk to the shop first: most problems are solved directly.
• Report the listing or the seller with the Report button. Nairobi Square reviews every report and can remove listings and suspend shops.
